President Donald Trump held two rallies in Texas on Friday, rallying support for Republican Senate candidate Ken Paxton while criticizing Democrat James Talarico. At the first event in Corpus Cristi, Trump emphasized the importance of supporting the oil industry, a key economic driver for Texas, and warned that Talarico’s policies could jeopardize the state’s wealth.

Trump Warns of Economic Collapse Under Talarico

Speaking to a crowd, Trump accused Talarico of advocating for a ‘green new scam’ and claimed that his policies would lead to the collapse of Texas’s oil and gas industry. He cited Germany’s failed attempt at green energy as a cautionary tale, stating that the country nearly collapsed under such policies.

“Talafreako will kill millions of Texas jobs,” Trump said, using a derogatory term for Talarico. He also accused Talarico of wanting to dismantle capitalism and take apart the Texas economy. Trump contrasted this with Paxton, whom he praised for always acting in Texas’s interest and preserving jobs for the state’s residents.

Paxton Expresses Gratitude for Trump’s Support

Ken Paxton, the Texas Attorney General, took the stage alongside Trump and thanked the president for his efforts in supporting Republican candidates. Paxton praised Trump’s work ethic and his commitment to making Texas and the country rich.

“Mr. President, I am so grateful to have you here in Texas. You are making a difference. Not just for Texas, but he’s traveling the country. I’ve never seen anybody work harder,” Paxton said. He urged Texans to get out and vote, emphasizing the importance of securing the Senate seat.

Trump Attacks Talarico on Personal Conduct

At the second rally in Lubbock, Trump continued his criticism of Talarico, alleging that the Democrat had attended ‘sexualized drag shows for kids’ and claimed to have a favorite drag queen. He also accused Talarico of stating that God is transgender and that Jesus would support sex changes for children.

“We can’t allow this to happen to our country,” Trump said, highlighting his concerns about Talarico’s views on gender and religion. Paxton again joined Trump on stage, reaffirming his support for the president and his commitment to the Republican cause in Texas.
