The White House is highlighting recent arrests of violent illegal aliens in Ohio as part of its efforts to bolster public support ahead of President Donald Trump’s rally in Chillicothe on Wednesday evening. The administration is framing these arrests as a direct response to the policies of the previous administration, emphasizing the need for stricter border control and enhanced law enforcement.
White House Spokeswoman Comments on Illegal Alien Crime
White House spokeswoman Lauren Bis addressed the issue in an exclusive interview with Breitbart News, stating that the Democratic Party’s approach to immigration allowed millions of unvetted individuals—many of whom were convicted of serious crimes such as murder, pedophilia, gang membership, and terrorism—to enter U.S. communities. Bis claimed that on day one of the Trump administration, the border was secured, and the so-called ‘invasion’ of the country was halted.
“Never forget what the Democrats did to our country,” Bis said. “They allowed millions of unvetted illegal aliens—many of whom were murderers, pedophiles, gang members, and suspected terrorists—to pour into our communities. On day one, President Trump secured the border and stopped the invasion of our country.”
Arrests of Illegal Aliens in Ohio
Among the recent arrests in Ohio are several individuals with criminal convictions. Julio Cesar Perez Alvarez of Mexico was arrested for gross sexual imposition, while Sebastian Alejandro De Leon of Guatemala was convicted of strangulation, drunk driving, and disorderly conduct. Isidoro Cruz Bernal of Colombia was arrested by ICE after being convicted of conspiracy to commit burglary, and Sardor Tirkashev of Uzbekistan was arrested for two counts of aggravated assault and battery.
Christopher Antonio Rodriguez Molina of Honduras was also arrested in Columbus, Ohio, after being convicted of cocaine trafficking. These arrests, according to the White House, reflect the administration’s commitment to combating crime and enforcing immigration laws effectively.
ICE’s Role in Combating Illegal Alien Crime
The Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency has been actively involved in these arrests, working closely with local law enforcement to target individuals who pose a threat to public safety. The White House is using these arrests to underscore its broader narrative about the dangers of uncontrolled immigration and the success of its border security policies.
While the administration continues to emphasize the importance of these arrests, critics argue that the focus on criminal convictions may overshadow the broader issue of immigration reform and the need for a more comprehensive approach to border security and legal immigration.
