A disturbing video has surfaced showing two individuals dumping a bag containing a dead man outside a Brooklyn church overnight. The footage captures one person removing the bag from the trunk of a light-colored sedan and placing it along the curb before returning to the car and driving away. The bag remained unattended for approximately eight hours.
WOW: Two people pulled up to a Brooklyn church in the middle of the night, took a bag out of their trunk, left it on the curb, and drove off. Inside was a dead man.
At around 9:20 a.m., a man known in the area for collecting scrap metal arrived and loaded the bag onto a hand truck. He wheeled it about a block toward East 93rd Street, opened it outside a vacant former movie theater, and discovered the remains mixed in with scrap metal and wires.
The man immediately flagged down sanitation workers, who then called 911. Officers arrived on the scene and pronounced the man dead. Police believe the victim is a man in his 50s or 60s, though the victim’s name or suspected cause of death has not been released.
Gothamist reported that police officials stated the man’s body was badly decomposed, indicating the time of death may have been several days prior. Police have not publicly named the suspects, and they remain at large.
The incident has raised concerns about public safety and the potential for foul play. Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the man’s death and are looking for any witnesses or additional information that may lead to the identification of those responsible.
