The U.S. government has announced a $20 million reward and potential relocation for anyone with information about Iran’s nuclear program, including its secret facilities, equipment, scientists, and the movement of nuclear-related materials and personnel.

U.S. Seeks Intelligence on Iran’s Nuclear Infrastructure

On Friday, the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) publicized the State Department’s Rewards for Justice initiative, seeking information about the Iranian regime’s nuclear infrastructure, sensitive equipment, scientists, and the movement of nuclear-related materials and personnel. The announcement comes as President Donald Trump continues his campaign to prevent Tehran from developing nuclear weapons, following devastating American military strikes against Iranian nuclear facilities.

Rewards for Justice is offering a reward of up to $20 million and possible relocation for information about Iran’s nuclear program, including its facilities, equipment, and associated personnel, such as those in the scientific community, or the movement of any of the above.

Iran’s Uranium Enrichment and IAEA Concerns

In 2025, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) reported that Iran is enriching uranium to 60 percent purity, a level that is a short technical step from the 90 percent required for a nuclear weapon. Iran is the only non-nuclear-weapon state to produce uranium at such a high enrichment level. Experts estimate this quantity, if enriched further, could be enough for several nuclear weapons.

The regime’s lack of compliance with the IAEA on safeguards obligations has led to the agency’s loss of “continuity of knowledge” regarding Iran’s production and inventory of key components like centrifuges.

Recent U.S. Strikes on Iranian Nuclear Sites

This bounty comes amid the ongoing conflict that began with U.S. and Israeli strikes on Iranian nuclear sites. President Trump has repeatedly stated that key facilities at Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan were “completely and totally obliterated” in the June 2025 strikes (Operation Midnight Hammer). Later assessments varied, with some intelligence indicating significant setbacks rather than total elimination, and Trump has more recently noted that one or two targets may remain. Tehran continues to defy inspectors while pursuing enrichment and supporting proxy attacks across the region.

Rewards for Justice Program Overview

Rewards for Justice, established in 1984, has paid more than $250 million to over 125 people who provided information that helped disrupt terrorism or protect U.S. interests. The program is now openly inviting insiders, scientists, or anyone with knowledge of Iran’s nuclear infrastructure and personnel to come forward, with relocation offered as an added incentive for those who cooperate.
