Three teens and one adult male have been arrested and charged with the murder of a 15-year-old boy found dead in an abandoned Georgia apartment. The victim, 15-year-old Austin Payne of Albany, Georgia, was discovered on November 1 after being reported missing by his mother following a confrontation on Halloween.

Austin Payne was walking on Cameo Lane with his friends when he was approached by a group of armed black males who demanded his belongings. He called his mother shortly after 8 pm to report shots fired, but lost connection. His mother tracked his phone to an abandoned home the next morning.

Officers arrived at the scene and found the teen dead inside an abandoned home, later identified as Austin Payne.

The suspects arrested and charged with murder include 15-year-old Jansquincey Donaldson, 15-year-old Omari Marion, 16-year-old Adarious Wallace, and 22-year-old Detravion Parker. The obituary for Austin Payne highlighted his love for the outdoors, fishing, hunting, and riding four-wheelers, along with his Christian faith.
