Burglar Steals Empty Boxes, Mocked for Low IQ Attempt

A burglar in Arizona is facing ridicule after making a seemingly foolish attempt to steal computers from a tech company. Security cameras captured the incident on October 4, showing the suspect breaking a glass window at the company’s office in a business park. The man, dressed in a plaid shirt and a black baseball hat, managed to stick half his body through the blinds but failed to enter the building.

Despite the computers being right in front of him, the criminal only managed to steal empty boxes, according to employee Curran Rose. Rose spoke to FOX 10 Phoenix about the incident, revealing the absurdity of the situation. “Nope! Just empty boxes,” Rose said. “Our computers were right there in front of them. They just steal the boxes instead. Really low IQ.”

Rose added that everyone at the company was laughing about the incident. “They stole empty boxes. Everyone was laughing about it,” he said. “I’m just glad no one was hurt.” Despite the lack of damage, the company has filed a report with Tempe Police. “We’re still trying to figure out who this guy was; we’re asking around the neighborhood,” Rose said. “Just hope that we get the word out, find the guy, and capture him.”
