A 23-year-old man allegedly orchestrated an online scheme to have a stranger sexually assault his fiancée at their home while she was alone with their two young children. The attack unfolded on October 16 near Southern Avenue and Miller Road, according to the Buckeye Police Department.

Violent Confrontation Captured on Camera

Bella Torres, the mother, fought back against the attacker in a terrifying driveway struggle, which was captured on home security footage. The attacker, 20-year-old Adrian Ayala of Goodyear, arrived minutes after Dyer left to run an errand for groceries.

Ayala allegedly kicked the front door open and forced his way inside, then grabbed Torres by the neck and began choking her. The struggle spilled into the bathroom, where he locked the door and tried to undo the button on her pants, according to court documents and news accounts.

Chase and Escape

Torres fought back fiercely, eventually dragging the attacker outside into the driveway. Home security footage shows her pushing him away, slapping him, and shouting as he pressed his weight into her. During the fight, Ayala allegedly told her, “Your boyfriend told me you’d be into this.” Torres chased him down the street before he escaped, with one of the children reportedly struck during the chaos.

Arrests and Charges

Ayala was arrested the next day at his Goodyear home, and Dyer was arrested on October 29 while at work near Roosevelt Street and Verrado Way. Both men face serious charges, including aggravated assault, sexual abuse, attempted sexual assault, kidnapping, and conspiracy. Ayala faces related charges, including kidnapping, sexual abuse, burglary, and aggravated assault.

Police have not yet determined a motive for the alleged plot. Ayala’s attorney described the incident as a “role-play scenario,” claiming his client believed he had consent because of what Dyer allegedly told him. Torres previously told local media she did not know Ayala and did not believe her fiancé knew him either.
