CNN Excluded from Air Force One Trip as Trump Admin Limits Coverage

1 min read

CNN faced another setback in its coverage of President Trump’s travel plans after being excluded from the White House pool rotation for his trip to Tennessee. The network’s White House correspondent, Alayna Treene, expressed frustration during an appearance on the network with Anderson Cooper, stating that the White House had prevented CNN from fulfilling its TV duties.

Exclusion from Air Force One Coverage

CNN was not listed as a replacement for the pool coverage, which led the network to accuse the Trump administration of singling it out. The White House had previously banned CNN, MS NOW, and Politico from the White House complex, citing accusations of ‘FICTION and LIES.’

Despite a recent court order restoring credentials for the White House complex, the ban on Air Force One and pool rotation remains in effect. Fox, ABC, CBS, and NBC refused to step in, resulting in no replacement pool coverage for the president’s trip.

Real America’s Voice and LindellTV Step In

Real America’s Voice and LindellTV took over the coverage, offering free, clean feeds of the White House and travel-pool video to all media outlets. Parker Sigg, Vice President of Real America’s Voice, emphasized that the free press remains alive and well, with the network proud to serve as a conduit for constitutional principles.

The two outlets covered key events, including Xi Jinping’s arrival at the White House and Joint Base Andrews, despite the absence of legacy media. This move has been interpreted as a broader effort to challenge the narrative of the legacy press and assert the role of alternative media in providing coverage.

As tensions continue between the Trump administration and traditional media outlets, the situation highlights ongoing issues of press access and the evolving landscape of media coverage in the United States.
