Ex-MAHA Adviser Demands Records Over Corruption Allegations
Former MAHA adviser Calley Means seeks records from Susie Wiles and lobbying firms amid corruption claims.

A former MAHA adviser, Calley Means, has demanded that Susie Wiles and two Trump-linked lobbying firms preserve communications tied to corruption allegations he raised on Joe Rogan’s podcast. Means, who resigned from his role on October 22, is seeking records of meetings, policy calls, and access granted to lobbyists, including those related to Bayer, Monsanto, and the glyphosate executive order. He also requested documents on sugar-industry fundraising linked to federal nutrition policy, lobbying invoices, meeting calendars, and visitor logs, including encrypted and disappearing messages.
Legal Dispute Over Interview
The dispute escalated after Means’ appearance on the “Joe Rogan Experience” on Friday. Means alleged that Wiles told him she needed sugar-industry money to win the midterms and described being handed the glyphosate order for review. Walker Barrett, the assistant to the president for policy, reportedly told him the order was final and instructed him to inform Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. that it was not up for discussion.
In light of suggestions that Susie Wiles and James Blair may pursue legal action over my Joe Rogan interview, I am publicly requesting that she, Ballard Partners, Continental Straregy, and other relevant parties immediately preserve all potentially relevant records and communications, including: ✅All communications between Susie Wiles, Ballard Partners, and their representatives concerning lobbying access, meetings, policy decisions, and corporate clients. ✅All communications involving Bayer, Monsanto, Ballard Partners, and White House officials concerning glyphosate, the national security executive order, and the administration’s position in Supreme Court litigation involving Bayer. ✅All communications concerning sugar-industry political contributions, fundraising commitments, and discussions about how those interests related to federal nutrition policy. ✅All communications involving Tony Fabrizio, food-industry representatives, and White House officials concerning MAHA initiatives, school nutrition standards, and the proposed federal definition of ultra-processed foods. ✅All drafts, internal correspondence, meeting notes, and communications involving Walker Barrett, Heidi Overton, and other relevant officials concerning the glyphosate executive order and Bayer litigation, including discussions about Secretary Kennedy’s involvement. ✅All relevant lobbying agreements, invoices, payment records, meeting calendars, visitor logs, and communications concerning corporate efforts to influence the policy decisions discussed in my interview – including from Continental Strategy. ✅All nonprivileged communications concerning my allegations, their factual accuracy, and any contemplated legal action arising from my interview. This preservation request includes emails, text messages, Signal, WhatsApp, encrypted or disappearing messages, attachments, drafts, and relevant electronically stored records. I welcome a full and transparent examination of the facts.
Means also claimed that Heidi Overton, now Trump’s FDA pick, worked with the Justice Department on why the court should take Bayer’s case. The Supreme Court ruled 7-2 in June that federal pesticide law bars state failure-to-warn claims against Monsanto, a Bayer subsidiary. The White House has previously stated that it secured extensive victories for the MAHA agenda, with Wiles being essential to that work. She will be handing the job to Stephen Miller on Friday.
Means wrote that he welcomes a full and transparent examination of the facts, despite the legal dispute. James Blair, former White House Deputy Chief of Staff, disputed Means’ account, stating he warned Means he would consider suing if defamed. “Calley, your poor me act is tiring and embarrassing for a grown man,” Blair wrote.
