A holdout juror in the triple murder trial of Lindsay Clancy has spoken publicly for the first time since a mistrial was declared, emphasizing the importance of remembering the three deceased children in the case. Michael P. Desronvil, the juror who voted against acquittal, described the victims as ‘the Three Angels,’ a term he used to honor their lives and the impact they left on those who knew them.
Tense Deliberations and Juror Phone Use
Desronvil clarified that all jurors, including himself, were allowed to use their cell phones during breaks, but not during deliberations. His defense attorney, Kevin Reddington, had requested that Desronvil’s phone be examined after he became the only juror to vote against acquittal. Desronvil denied any wrongdoing, stating he answered all questions truthfully and had no intention of misleading the court.
Reddington continued to push for an investigation into Desronvil, citing past domestic abuse allegations and his juror questionnaire. Desronvil, however, dismissed these claims, stating that the 2021 altercation with his then-wife had been ‘blown out of proportion’ and that no abuse occurred. Charges against him were later dropped.
Clancy’s Methodical Execution and Impact on Juror
Desronvil described how Lindsay Clancy methodically executed the children, a detail that deeply affected him. According to court testimony, Clancy asked her husband to pick up medicine and takeout before taking each child to the basement and strangling them with separate exercise bands. The juror was also moved by the 911 call made by the children’s father, which was played in court but not released publicly.
Memorial Park and the ‘Three Angels’
Desronvil and Fox News’ Kayleigh McEnany visited a local park in Massachusetts that includes installations honoring the ‘Three Angels.’ The park features a firefighter-themed play structure for Dawson, a toddler area for Callan, and a purple play structure for Cora, who shared Desronvil’s favorite color. These installations serve as a tribute to the children, highlighting their lives and the impact they had on those around them.
