Reid Hoffman, co-founder of LinkedIn and a prominent Democratic donor, has contributed $500,000 to a super PAC supporting Kentucky Democrat Zach Dembo, according to recent Federal Election Commission records. The donation was made to the group Kentuckians Not Corruption on September 24, as revealed by an investigation by WEKU.

Boosting TV Ads and Campaign Spending

The PAC has significantly increased its television ad spending following the donation, with weekly buys on Lexington’s WLEX-TV surging from approximately $14,650 in mid-September to nearly $110,000 the week of October 6. By mid-October, the group had already spent about $1.6 million on the race.

Dembo’s Anti-Corruption Campaign

Zach Dembo, a former federal prosecutor and Navy JAG officer who served as an aide to Governor Andy Beshear, has built his campaign around fighting corruption and the influence of big business and the ultra-wealthy. His campaign website emphasizes the need to prevent the wealthy from buying influence in Washington and calls for eliminating dark money in politics.

Controversial Donor Ties

Dembo’s campaign has remained silent despite receiving a major donation from Reid Hoffman, a billionaire with long-standing ties to Jeffrey Epstein. Hoffman has previously visited Epstein’s private island, stayed at his Manhattan townhouse, and sent ice cream to Epstein with a note stating it was “for the girls.”

Questions and Silence

Former state Senator Ralph Alvarado, Dembo’s Republican opponent, criticized the donation as “dirty Epstein class money fueling Zach Dembo’s campaign.” Despite repeated requests for comment, Dembo’s campaign has not responded.

Epstein’s Legacy and Hoffman’s Claims

Reid Hoffman has consistently claimed that his relationship with Epstein was limited to fundraising purposes, but these claims have been repeatedly challenged by new evidence. His connections to Epstein have been a focal point of previous investigations and reports, including those by The Gateway Pundit.
