CNN data released Monday shows that MAGA Republicans are just as likely as Democrats to say they are certain to vote in the 2026 midterm elections. According to the figures, 71 percent of Democrats said they were certain to vote, compared to 71 percent of MAGA Republicans.

Trump Maintains Strong Support Among MAGA Republicans

CNN’s Harry Enten also examined whether President Donald Trump has lost support among MAGA Republicans since the 2024 election. Enten noted that Trump won 99 percent of the MAGA Republican vote against Kamala Harris in 2024, and his current approval rating among the group stands at 98 percent.

“Perhaps surprisingly, I might have thought it would be 100%, but it was 99%,” Enten said of Trump’s 2024 vote share. He added that there has been no real decline in MAGA support for the Trump administration, despite the passage of time since the 2024 election.

The data underscores that Trump retains strong support among MAGA Republicans, and that the same share of MAGA Republicans and Democrats express certainty about voting in the upcoming midterms. Enten’s analysis highlights the continued political alignment within the MAGA base and the potential impact of Trump’s influence on voter turnout.

The report sparked online reactions from individuals who expressed eagerness to vote and predicted that Trump’s upcoming rallies could boost turnout. These comments reflect a broader sentiment that the MAGA movement remains a potent force in the political landscape, with its members actively engaged in the electoral process.
