Sean “Diddy” Combs, the disgraced music mogul, is reportedly living a life of luxury behind bars, according to recent reports. Convicted of two counts of interstate transportation to engage in prostitution under the Mann Act, Combs is serving a 50-month sentence at Fort Dix federal prison.
Lavish Living Conditions
According to NBC News, Combs is reportedly receiving massages, access to a cellphone, and premium liquor. Former inmates at the prison described his living conditions as “rich shit” and “crazy,” noting that he has men cooking and cleaning for him, and even someone providing Chinese-style massages on demand.
Smuggled Booze and Social Interactions
Guards are reportedly smuggling in premium liquor for Combs and some of his fellow inmates to enjoy on the weekends. One inmate claimed to have drunk Hennessy with Combs, saying, “Hell yeah, I drank with him.” Combs is also said to have access to an Instagram account and explicit adult content sent by a former girlfriend.
Prescription Medication Access
Combs is reportedly able to access other inmates’ prescription Remeron medication, known as “rem-roms” in the prison. The medication is typically prescribed to those suffering from depression and anxiety and is popular on the prison’s black market.
Financial Support and Legal Proceedings
Sources claimed Combs deposited thousands of dollars into the commissaries of the inmates pampering him, with help from people on the outside. His release date was originally set for June 2028 and has been quietly bumped up several times. The U.S. Federal Bureau of Prisons’ inmate records list Combs’ projected release date as early as January 21, 2028.
Combs’ representative, Juda Engelmayer, has pushed back against the claims, stating that the continued scrutiny of every mundane detail of his life in prison has reached the point where the media characterizes ordinary prison life as news. Engelmayer emphasized that the only real news is that Combs continues to serve his sentence within the rules and awaits the court’s decision on his appeal.
