Israel Strikes Hamas Commanders in Ongoing Counterterrorism Effort
IDF eliminates Hamas commanders linked to October 7 attacks, amid continued Palestinian terrorist activity.

As Israelis and others around the world marked the third anniversary of the October 7 attacks, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced the elimination of two Hamas commanders linked to the 2023 massacre. The IDF confirmed the removal of Ibrahim Alam, a Hamas military commander who infiltrated Israel during the October 7 Massacre and participated in the murder of multiple Israeli civilians. Additionally, Mu’tasem Muhammad Suleiman Salah, another Hamas terrorist, was also eliminated.
“ELIMINATED: Ibrahim Alam, a commander in Hamas’ military wing, who infiltrated Israel during the October 7 Massacre and took part in the murder of numerous Israeli civilians and in the abduction of Sergeant Shaked Dahan’s body to Hamas captivity,” the IDF stated.

The IDF also noted that Mu’tasem Muhammad Suleiman Salah was eliminated after he and other terrorists advanced attacks against Israeli civilians and IDF troops, operating to restore Hamas’ capabilities in systematic violation of the ceasefire. “The terrorists were eliminated in order to remove the threat they posed,” the IDF added.
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz announced this week that the IDF has eliminated about two-thirds of the 6,000 terrorists who crossed into Israel on Oct. 7, 2023. Despite these efforts, Hamas terrorism continues, with over 2,300 Palestinian terrorist attacks on Israelis this year.

While the situation remains dire, the IDF has demonstrated its ability to counter the ongoing threat posed by Hamas. With a strong military and advanced intelligence capabilities, Israel is able to fight back and punish those responsible for the October 7 attacks. This has become a significant concern for groups attempting to finish what Hitler started — the annihilation of the Jewish people.
