Former President Donald Trump has endorsed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for his upcoming re-election, calling him ‘strong, brave, and brilliant.’ In a post on Truth Social, Trump addressed a letter to the people of Israel, warning that if Israel has the wrong leader, the United States will have to take on the responsibility of fighting Iran alone.

‘Bibi Netanyahu has been a Great Warrior Prime Minister, and an even greater Partner for Peace in combatting the Islamic Republic of Iran,’ Trump wrote. He highlighted the threat posed by Iran’s repeated chants of ‘Death to Israel, Death to America!’ and warned that such rhetoric could eventually become reality.

‘What Country can survive when things such as this are allowed to be said, because eventually, they always end up being true?’ Trump continued, emphasizing the need for Israel to have a leader who can stand firm against Iran’s aggression. He reiterated that unless Iran changes its ways, the U.S. would have to take action.

‘If Israel has the wrong Leader, which would be anyone other than Bibi, America will have to do this work ourselves, and I am not inclined to do so,’ Trump said. He praised Netanyahu for his strength and resilience, noting that while others might have faltered under pressure, Netanyahu has only grown stronger.

‘This is the kind of Partner that the United States of America is demanding of Israel,’ Trump added. He concluded his letter by stating, ‘Please let this Letter serve to represent my Complete and Total Endorsement of Bibi Netanyahu in his upcoming Race for Re-Election as Prime Minister of Israel.’ He ended with a strong statement: ‘BIBI NETANYAHU WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!’

Trump’s endorsement comes after he previously mentioned that he might support a candidate in the Israeli elections, though he had not yet made a decision. The letter is seen as a significant statement of support for Netanyahu, who faces challenges from within his own party and from critics who question his leadership style and policies.
