President Donald Trump remained unfazed by at least ten protesters who attempted to disrupt his speech in South Carolina on Wednesday night. The disruptions, which occurred multiple times during the event, did not deter the president, who has a history of dealing with such interruptions at his rallies.

Disruptions and Reactions

According to the White House press pool, Trump was interrupted nine times during the first twenty minutes of his speech, with six of those interruptions occurring within the first eight minutes. The president, known for his resilience in the face of protest, used the disruptions as an opportunity to comment on the tactics of the protesters.

“Paid protesters. It’s unbelievable, unbelievable. They’ll do whatever they can to win. They get $250 for that, and they screw up their lives,” Trump said during the first interruption. He added, “And they go home, and mom slaps him around… ‘I voted for that man. Don’t you ever do that again, son. I still love you, Son.’ Hard to believe, isn’t it?”

Comedic Remarks and Punchlines

During the third interruption, Trump quipped that he is always interrupted at his “punchline.” “I don’t mind when they do that, but it’s always right at my punchline. You see it? I’ve had three punchlines… they time them beautifully. These people are serious losers,” he said.

Later in the rally, a rallygoer appeared to throw a punch at a protester. Trump addressed the incident, asking, “Who’s the guy that threw that punch? Who threw that punch?” He also referenced Evander Holyfield, a former boxing champion, saying, “You reminded me of Evander ‘The Real Deal’ Holyfield.”

Protester Conflict and Remarks

Trump described the incident as “unbelievable,” noting that the protester “screeched” before being punched. “He started, you know, that screech, whatever the hell they do, whatever they practice, and as he’s in the process of the screech, he got whacked,” he said.

Overall, the disruptions did not dampen Trump’s demeanor, as he continued to engage with the audience and make light of the situation, reinforcing his ability to handle protest and maintain his focus during public appearances.
