U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has deported dozens of convicted gang members, killers, and sex offenders in a series of recent operations, according to federal records. The agency has been targeting individuals with criminal histories who were previously ordered to be removed from the country but remained in the United States.

Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin emphasized that the United States would not become a sanctuary for illegal aliens, stating that the agency would not apologize for the arrests. The individuals deported were already subject to removal orders, some dating back years.

Manuel Barahona-Rivera, a Honduran MS-13 member, was deported on Sept. 30. DHS reported he had convictions for second-degree murder and marijuana possession, with a removal order from 2005. Jose Balmory Ramirez Rodriguez, an Salvadoran MS-13 member, was deported on Oct. 2, with a history of first-degree manslaughter and third-degree assault. He had crossed the U.S. border in 2001 and was ordered removed in 2007 but returned.

Jorge Andres Chirinos, a Mexican suspected of gang membership, was deported on Sept. 30 with convictions for second-degree murder and terroristic threats. His removal order was issued in 2026, and he entered the U.S. in 2002. Jose Refugio Rangel Machuca, a Mexican member of Compton Varrio 70s, was deported on Oct. 2 with two attempted murder convictions and other charges. His removal order was dated Sept. 22.

Jaime Ramirez-Diaz, a Mexican suspected Sinaloa cartel member, was deported on Sept. 29 with felony armed robbery and shoplifting convictions. His removal order from 2014 had not prevented him from staying in the U.S. Ever Magdiel Mejia-Vasquez, a Honduran Maravilla Salva Trucha member, was deported on Oct. 2 with charges of cocaine base possession and other violent crimes.

Pedro Ruiz-Cisneros, a Mexican Barrio Azteca member, was deported on Oct. 2 after five earlier removals. His convictions included aggravated assault and illegal re-entry. Maria Solis-Iriqui, a Mexican Crips member, was deported on Oct. 1 with felony assault and drug possession charges. Marvin Ernesto Leon-Ceron, a Salvadoran MS-13 member, was deported on Sept. 29 with second-degree assault convictions.

Isidro Cruz-Estefina, a Mexican Latin Kings member, was deported on Sept. 30 after earlier removals in 2004 and 2009. His record included burglary and unlawful possession of a weapon. The same week, DHS posted arrests that had not yet become removals, including pedophiles, animal abusers, and drug traffickers.

On Thursday, DHS posted another day’s arrests and said there would be no sanctuary for those taken into custody.

That batch of arrestees included those with convictions for murder, assault on an officer, firearm possession, abduction, strangulation, and possession with intent to distribute.
