President Donald Trump has taken to social media to highlight recent renovations at the White House, including the completion of a new helipad on the South Lawn. The project, which he claims has significantly extended the life of the historic complex, features a restored façade and a modernized entrance.

On Wednesday night, Trump posted images showcasing the newly built helipad, complete with the presidential seal and the White House’s south facade. He emphasized that the renovations have restored the exterior walls and ornamentation, which had suffered from years of wear and tear.

“Actual pictures of our fully renovated White House façade, facing South, with the new South Entrance, and Heliport! Over the years, the façade, both North and South, suffered tremendous wear, tear, and damage,” Trump stated.

He also noted that the exterior walls and ornamentation, which were missing or in poor condition, have been fully restored to the highest level, giving the White House many decades of additional life. “It had to be done, and I am very proud to be the President who did it!” he added.

Trump also mentioned the ongoing construction of the White House ballroom, which he described as a secure venue for large-scale events. “Likewise, the Ballroom and Military Complex is on time, and on budget, and will make an unbelievably beautiful addition, the first since the West Wing in 1901, to the White House,” he said.

The renovations reflect a broader effort to modernize and secure the presidential residence while maintaining its historical significance. Trump’s focus on the helipad and ballroom underscores his administration’s commitment to both functionality and aesthetics in the White House’s infrastructure.
